Publications

One of the reasons behind what we do is to help people in Papua New Guinea, especially those individuals engaged in extension, training or teaching, find suitable agricultural publications. In the past, it has not always been easy to keep track of just what is available, even of titles published by the major publishers, e.g. Department of Agriculture and Livestock.

Shortly, we will be able to list all titles published by agricultural institutions in Papua New Guinea. Currently, there are 645 titles included in the database from over 12 institutions. Most but not all are extension-type publications, i.e. small booklets, pamphlets or posters, written with farmers in mind. To give you some idea of what is available, the following list of NAIS partner institutions indicates the number of titles currently available:

Cocoa Coconut Institute of Papua New Guinea (76 titles)
Coffee Industry Corporation (124 titles)
National Agricultural Research Institute (205 titles)
Papua New Guinea Oil Palm Research Association (7 titles)
